Hampshire Country Show

Our third show of the season
13/05/2017
The weather didn't look too promising, but in the end we saw only a few spots of rain over the May Day Holiday, which we spent at Netley Marsh in Hampshire. Team Ridley were there all weekend and should have been joined by Carol with Bunty, Bess and Blanche on Monday, but with the forecast threatening thunder and heavy rain I suggested that they all stayed at home instead of coming just to get wet. In the end, though, it brightened up quite considerably, and by the time we were ready to go home it was a beautiful spring day.

As always, the team enjoyed meeting lots of people, especially the children.

From our position just opposite the main dog arena we have a great view of all the goings on in there. One of our favourites is the demonstration by Chris Neal and Paul Makepeace on how they train gundogs to work with birds of prey.

We will be back in action at Burghley Game & Counry Fair over the late May Bank Holiday weekend. Do come and meet us there!
