To celebrate Erik's birthday on October 19^th we went out for the day to Kingstree Wood in Warwickshire.


This is a magical place, named in honour of the Kingstree Otterhounds who are special friends of ours.

Xanthe soon alerted us to a very interesting scent, which she knew meant there were deer around, but the boss said we had to stay on our leads, as tracking deer was not allowed.




We still had a lovely time, even if the old man said we had to stop halfway, as his paws were tired. We took advantage of a nice bench to get a family photo. Erik is on the right with, from the left, Xaver, Anika, Tomáš and Xanthe.
